What it actually costs in year one

  • Solo agent, no paid leads: Sierra Starter prepaid is $3,599.40 for the year, or $4,799.40 if you add the dialer. Billed monthly it's $4,819.40 including the $500 setup fee, before the dialer. Real Geeks is $5,288 ($399 ร— 12 + $500 setup), with the dialer and a second user already included.
  • Solo agent buying leads with AI texting: Real Geeks platform plus the Social lead package is $698/mo, and Geek AI Text comes free with it. Sierra can't add Lead Engage on Starter, so the cheapest Sierra route to AI nurture is Essential plus Lead Engage, $598.95/mo prepaid, before any ad management or ad spend.
  • Team of 5: Real Geeks is $474/mo (2 included users plus 3 at $25), or $6,188 in year one with setup. Sierra Essential with 2 extra users is $519.95/mo prepaid ($6,239.40 a year), and Growth with 5 users built in is $599.95/mo ($7,199.40 a year), with much larger text and calling allotments and all website designs included.

All figures are platform cost only, before ad spend, extra MLS feeds (Sierra includes one; extra feeds are $25 each) and premium website designs.

Features: where each one wins

Real Geeks bundles leads and AI. The platform includes an IDX website that Real Geeks says is built for search and AI answer engines, AI-generated local area pages, the MoveTo branded search app, a CRM with a dialer, live website chat, lead routing and lead ponds, a mobile app, SkySlope agreements, Marketing Studio, drip marketing, 50+ integrations and US-based 24/7 support. Its main draw is that you can buy a lead package from the same company that builds the site, and Geek AI Text then texts those leads for you. Real Geeks also offers AI Connect, which lets ChatGPT or Claude edit your Real Geeks website through MCP (see our guide to connecting AI to your CRM).

Sierra Interactive scales better for growing teams. Plans step up by team size (1, 3 and 5 included users), with cheaper extra seats on Growth ($20, then $10, then $5 at 50+ users). Growth includes all website designs; Starter and Essential include the Ace and Pro designs, and the Pinnacle, Exec and Luxury designs cost $100โ€“$150/mo more. Onboarding runs 30, 60 or 90 days depending on the plan. Lead Engage adds AI nurture for unlimited leads at a flat $199/mo, which suits teams that already generate leads and want them worked consistently.

Which one to choose

  1. You want to buy leads and have them worked for you: Real Geeks. Leads, the website, the CRM and AI texting come from one vendor, and the pricing page says the lead packages carry a guarantee.
  2. You're a solo agent with your own lead sources and can prepay: Sierra Starter is the cheapest way into either platform. Add the dialer only if you call from the CRM.
  3. You run a team of 5โ€“10 that's growing: Sierra Growth. Extra seats are cheap, calling and texting allotments are large, and every website design is included.
  4. You mainly need a CRM, not an IDX website: neither. A CRM-first tool is cheaper; see Wise Agent vs Follow Up Boss and Follow Up Boss vs Lofty vs BoldTrail.

Ask your brokerage first: many provide Lofty or BoldTrail (kvCORE), which also combine an IDX site and CRM. Browse all CRM and lead follow-up tools and real estate website tools, or read CRMs with AI features.

Before you sign

Both platforms involve a term commitment, so ask for the agreement in writing before you pay. Confirm which MLS feeds are included, who owns your domain and lead data if you leave, and how to export contacts to CSV. If AI will text your leads, check the consent language on your lead forms, because TCPA rules apply to automated texts (see our AI calls and texts guide). Ask both vendors for a demo using your own market and a sample lead. If you'd like help deciding, our Personalized AI Tool Gameplan reviews your whole stack.
