New AI Tools This Week: Zillow in Claude, Claude Duet, Real's Leo Pro (Oct 22, 2026)

Published . Every item links to its source; prices and availability change often.

The big theme this week: home search and MLS listing data are moving inside the AI assistants you and your clients already use. Here's what launched or changed from October 15 to 22, 2026, and what it means for your business.

1. Zillow launches a connector for Claude

Claude users can now connect Zillow (Customize → Connectors) and search for-sale and rental listings, see interactive maps, check home values and run affordability math in the chat. From the same conversation, consumers can request a tour, connect with an agent or explore financing through Zillow. Zillow says listings keep the same broker and MLS attribution as Zillow.com. Why it matters: buyers may start their search in Claude, and the lead path runs through Zillow.

2. Anthropic opens a research preview of Claude Duet

Claude Duet is a new proactive agent app (iOS, Android and claude.ai) that sends a morning brief from your connected apps, works on tasks in the background and asks for approval before it sends a message, makes a payment or signs a document. It's included in Claude Pro and Max during the preview, starting with US users by waitlist. One early tester, a broker, said it caught a showing on her calendar set for the wrong day.

3. Real Brokerage unveils Leo Pro, a pay-per-task AI agent library

Real gave its agents Leo Pro inside its reZEN platform: more than three dozen AI agents for jobs like listing videos, cold-lead follow-up and moving transactions forward, plus a no-code AI Builder, voice control and CRM-connected follow-up (AiRM). It's priced by tokens instead of seats: 20,000 tokens a month on the monthly plan, with an intro price of $9.99/month for agents who signed up on launch day, per a Real spokesperson. For now it's only available to Real Brokerage agents.

4. MLS data is getting governed AI pipelines: Cotality Trestle MCP and elevateMLS + SourceRE

Cotality launched Trestle MCP, which lets MLSs on its Trestle platform connect approved AI apps to listing data under their existing rules, at no extra cost to the MLS. Separately, Colorado's elevateMLS invested in SourceRE and will use its MCP server to send listing data into AI platforms on the MLS's terms (Inman). Why it matters: expect more accurate, attributed listing data when clients ask AI about homes.

5. Gemini adds a small-business hub and on-brand visuals

Google launched a business landing page in Gemini for building your brand, analyzing finances and understanding customer insights. You can save your brand style (website, brand kit, fonts, colors) so new images stay on-brand, and connect Google Business Profile, Google Ads, Workspace and apps like Canva, Adobe and Dropbox.

6. Gemini comes to Android Auto with Personal Intelligence

Gemini is now available globally on Android Auto and cars with Google built-in, and Personal Intelligence is rolling out on Android Auto so you can ask hands-free questions that draw on Gmail, Calendar, Maps and other Google apps you choose to connect. It's for eligible personal Google accounts, not Workspace business accounts, and it isn't available in the EEA, Switzerland, the UK or Nigeria. Useful between showings.

7. ChatGPT adds Locked Chats

You can now lock ChatGPT conversations behind a four-digit PIN or Face ID/Touch ID, which keeps them out of regular history and search. It's rolling out on Free, Go, Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu. OpenAI notes locking is not end-to-end encryption and doesn't change data retention, so still keep client data out of AI tools unless your brokerage allows it.

8. ChatGPT's Chrome extension gets Chat and Work modes

The updated ChatGPT browser extension can read open tabs (Chat mode) or act in the browser (Work mode): group tabs, download files and fill out forms using information from your documents, which you review before submitting. It's free on Chromium browsers like Chrome, Edge and Brave, but not yet on Firefox or Safari.
